Job description:

  • scientific service in research and teaching in the field of bioorganic chemistry, chemical and chemoenzymatic synthesis of post-translationally modified peptides with repeat structures
  • development of fragment linking methods for the synthesis of long proteins, bioassays
  • tasks for personal scientific qualification (doctorate)

 

Requirements:

  • completed scientific university degree in (bio)organic chemistry (preferably with a very good grade)
  • preferably a doctoral project in the research field of the professorship
  • practical experience in peptide chemistry and/or carbohydrate chemistry desired
  • good command of written and spoken English (at least C1)
  • fundamentals of knowledge transfer desired
  • aptitude for and openness to interdisciplinary teamwork
