Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences – Department of Chemistry

Aufgabengebiet
  • scientific services in research and teaching in the area of physical chemistry, especially in the field of multiphoton microspectroscopy
  • work with specific optical setups as well as acquisition and evaluation of spectroscopic data
  • preparation of samples
  • tasks for own scientific qualification (PhD)
Anforderungen
  • completed university degree with specialization in physical chemistry, biophysics, chemical physics or similar fields, all with experience in experimental work
  • solid knowledge in practical optical spectroscopy (Raman, infrared, fluorescence or similar), good theoretical background in vibrational spectroscopy and data interpretation is required
  • experience with optical setups (spectrometers, microscopes, lasers) is an advantage
  • interest in applications of basic programming (e.g. Python, MatLab, R, C++ or similar) for data evaluation is required
  • good command of written and spoken English
  • ability to work in a team of international researchers
