job description:

  • scientific service in research in the SPP 2196-project
  • investigations of the electronic structure of perovskite thin films and their interfaces in solar cells with angle-resolved UV photoelectron spectroscopy (AR-UPS) and XPS in the SPP 2196 project
  • further development of operando AR-UPS and XPS to investigate photovoltage effects

requirements:

  • completed university degree in physics or comparable subject
  • expertise in surface and semiconductor physics (particularly perovskites and organic semiconductors); photoelectron spectroscopy and handling of UHV equipment
  • demonstrated experience in usage of UHV-equipment and performing photoelectron spectroscopy experiments on perovskites and organic semiconductors
  • intercultural competence and excellent communication skills
